Board Advisor - Senior Business Consultant

Mr. Janak Bhattarai is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in portfolio management, negotiation, and SME banking. Currently serving as the Board Advisor- Senior Business Consultant at Tech Genius IT solutions Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Bhattarai served as Recovery Manager at Nepal Investment Mega Ltd, Janak has been instrumental in driving effective recovery strategies and managing diverse portfolios for over 1 year and 7 months.

Prior to this role, Janak held the position of Head of SME at Mega Bank Nepal for nearly 4 years, where he played a key role in developing and implementing SME banking strategies. His experience also includes a 6-year tenure at Global IME Bank, where he successfully led the SME division, contributing to the growth and stability of the bank’s SME portfolio.

Furthermore, he was involved in the implementation of DMS for loan and Score Based Approval system development as well as implementation for SME and retail loans. He was also a member of Digitisation and New Product Development.
Janak holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Tribhuvan University, equipping him with a strong foundation in business leadership and management.
